Shaping the future today.

We love libraries. Libraries are an essential part of who we are - as a child, as a k-12 student, as a college student, as a parent, and as a retiree.

About

I began helping libraries develop strategic plans in 2012. As a professor of library and information studies at UNCG's LIS Department specializing in leadership and management, informatics and analytics, and performance management systems, I was approached by a library system to help them develop their library system's strategic plan.

Since that time I have been honored to have been asked to help lead strategic planning efforts in nine North Carolina library systems serving 11 counties including Charlotte Mecklenburg, Orange County, Gaston County, Cleveland County, Camden County, the City of Hickory, Catawba County, the five counties served by Sandhill Regional Library System (Anson, Hoke, Montgomery, Moore, and Richmond), and Bennett College.
